Alecto the Ninth is the upcoming fourth and presumably final novel in The Locked Tomb Series by Tamsyn Muir. Originally predicted by Muir[1] and announced by Tor.com Publishing[2] to be released in 2021, the book's theoretical date of publication has been pushed back repeatedly, and there is currently no final release date or cover art. The most recent update, as of July 2024, is that Muir's publicist confirmed at San Diego Comic Con that Muir was still writing the book.[3]

- In an Reddit AMA on 5 August 2020, Muir was asked to describe Alecto the Ninth in "the most misleading but accurate way possible" and replied: "Fallout from a terrible house move causes generational ructions. John fries some bacon in his ute." [4]
- Nona the Ninth was spun off from what was originally the first act of Alecto the Ninth.[5][6]
